Other - Terraria 1.4.5, my FULL SUGGESTION LIST (more like wishlist xD) (2024)

So, this is a list of all my Terraria 1.4.5 suggestions, some of them I think need to be added to the game (0-5) and some are just my personal wishlist (6-7), but anyways, here they are:
0- Add a new item to the Ankh Charm: Chromatic Gloves, which is made from the Chromatic Cloak (from shimmering a star cloak) and the Hand Warmer (now from ice mimics instead of presents), it grants immunity to Shimmer Phasing and the Chilled and Frozen debuffs (EDIT).
1- Add relics and trophies for the Celestial Pillars.
2- Make the Twins' trophies one trophy (since it really ruins builds).
3- Add an Aether Pylon since I hate using my cavern pylon or another biome's pylon to travel to the shimmer.
4- Add the Dunerider Boots effect to the Terraspark Boots (you can either add the recipe without it being in the recipe or you can just add it to the recipe).
5- Add an ocean themed dungeon chest (with a spell book inside) and a glowing mushroom themed dungeon chest (with a grenade launcher inside), that way we can have 2 melee weapons, 2 ranged weapons, 2 mage weapons, and 2 summoner weapons inside of the post-Plantera dungeon chests.
6- Now we'll start with the ones that are most likely not going to happen (unless this update turns into 1.5). Add a goblin invasion mini-boss, with their own trophy and relic (now I have no idea on how this mini-boss would work so I am going to move on). Add a frost legion mini-boss, SnowyMan, with its own trophy and relic. Now this mini-boss won't be hard, it's just like a giant snowman that shoots snowballs at you, and when you get it to 50% HP, it starts throwing it's 3 body sections at you. And finally, add a slime rain mini-boss, Prince Slime, based on that red slime with a crown plushie that was shown in a state of the game, and of course with its own trophy and relic. I think this would be the coolest one, it spawns in the slime rain after killing both King and Queen Slime, it would most likely be like a Queen Slime and King Slime hybrid, it can fly with its wings after getting it to 50% HP, and it gets smaller and smaller as you hit it more. Also, add the hardmode slimes like Crimslime and Slimer and Rainbow Slime to the post-Queen Slime slime rain, to make this a bit more challenging (Also this way we have mini-bosses for every single event, which is pretty cool, and also just make the mini-bosses not have a lot of HP since they have extra attacks at 50% HP, which I don't remember other mini-bosses having).
7- And finally, the one I think will 100% not happen, add a desert boss, with its own trophy, treasure bag and relic, that I'd like to call: Shardeserdo (yes, it's a merge of shark and desert and tornado). So basically, it's a 3 headed desert shark that goes in and out of the ground, when it goes out of the ground, it splits into 3 parts, each with a head to attack you, and it does that every like 8 seconds. And after getting it to 50% HP, it summons two desert tornados that spawn a desert shark every 8 seconds into the fight. In Expert and Master, after getting it to 10% HP, it starts coming out of the ground really fast, like every 4-5 seconds, and the tornados spawn the desert sharks every 4-5 seconds as well. And in Legendary, the tornados spawn two desert sharks instead that have increased health and defense. For the Expert mode drop, I have no idea, but I'll just call it shark fang necklace, which makes all sharks friendly, gives you 5 defense and 5 armor penetration. For the Master pet, obviously a cute 3-headed desert shark that crawls on the ground and is in a sand bubble in the air. And for the boss summon, it's like a shark fang on a chain that's crafted with chains and a desert shark drop (probably being a tooth or something) at a demon altar, and I think this boss should be an early hardmode boss (and the boss does have other drops, I just don't have any idea what these drops are, same thing with the mini-bosses). And now we have a boss for every biome, yay!

1. ehhhh, i can get what you mean but the pillars are already pretty similar to eachother, it wouldn't really be necessary, though maybe just a generic pillar that represents all of them that is dropped when you kill the fourth one?

6. goblin army already has the flying HRAHRAHRAHAAAOOOOHHHH one, that's basically a miniboss; frost legion doesn't just need a miniboss, it needs a full on revamp (or just remove it from the game already for heck's sake); prince slime is decent, slime rain ideas are good since it spices up a useless event that only exists to annoy you
7. actually a fairly unique idea tbh; that said, it has been confirmed that 1.4.5 will not have new bosses added, but for a mod or "true" 1.5 i could see it becoming a possibility

1. true but anything to have one singular trophy cuz when I want to place the relics and trophies together the twins have one relic and two trophies so I end up just placing one trophy.
2. LOL I literally thought this was a different thing, since they had another queen slime plush that looks nothing like this. But still the idea is still there, a red slime with a crown.

1. Yeah true, but they're the only mini-boss/boss with a health bar without their own trophies/relics
3. Still, it has different music, a background, and they call it the Aether Biome, so we can still get a pylon for it
6. I SOOOOO AGREE ON THE FROST LEGION GETTING A REVAMP, IT JUST NEEDS TO HAPPEN
7. True, that's why I said it's impossible, but if 1.5 happens or if someone is willing to make this boss in a mod that would be cool

I always felt like the monoliths served this purpose, but still, I don't see why this couldn't happen.

I'm sorry, because I'm going to sound very rude here, but... suck it up. The Aether isn't a biome, so it doesn't deserve a pylon. If you're really desperate for a fast way to get to the Aether, use teleporters.

I don't think there's any good way to do this. If you don't use the Dunerider Boots to craft the Terrasparks, then you're getting an ability you didn't earn, and it's a very powerful ability, too. And if you require Dunerider Boots to craft the Terrasparks, then it makes it even harder to get the Terrasparks, because getting Dunerider Boots is heavily RNG-dependent and very inconsistent. It can sometimes take hours of scouring your Underground Desert to find them.

As much as I love the Glowing Mushroom biome, I feel like an Underworld biome chest would be more likely. But I'm really not against this idea.

What would any of those minibosses bring to the game? How would they appear, what do they drop, how do they fight? Why should the player care about fighting them?

In the past, I've been very harsh on suggestions for Desert bosses, but I really don't have it in me right now to dig into this idea, so I'll just do this briefly. Beyond the very shallow purpose of "a boss for every biome," what actual reason is there for this boss to be in the game? In what way does this actually make the Desert tangibly better?

1- The monoliths don't fit with other relics, they're colored, they can be used, they're small, the pillars need a RELIC.
2- I mean it's cool, but I'd just like there to at least be a way to make them into one trophy, since I had a build with all the relics and the trophy for that relic above it, and the twins just don't work there.
3- Nah it's okay Other - Terraria 1.4.5, my FULL SUGGESTION LIST (more like wishlist xD) (9), though I still want it, I love pylons and I would like one for the Aether, even if it's not really a "biome".
4- But like, I never see myself ever using those boots because I usually upgrade my Hermes boots to Spectre/Lightning boots very early on, so making this a part of the Terraspark boots would be great, and it being rare is actually good, since it makes Terraspark boots even better but harder to get, which I think is worth.
5- I mean, I always see the Underworld as a world layer, not a biome, just like how it goes Space/Surface/Underground/Caverns/Underworld, so that's why I thinking giving it to biomes like the ocean/glowing mushroom is more likely, and better, because that way Space/Surface/Underground/Caverns deserve it too, and that's just a lot of dungeon chests at this point.
6- Honestly, this would just make fighting these events more interesting, since honestly, slime rain is a useless event, snow legion is only there to get Santa, and the goblin invasion is just for the goblin tinkerer and goblin warlock, these events are not fun in my opinion, so they need something interesting to them like mini-bosses. I don't have any ideas for the drops now, but they all appear in their respective events, and I already slightly explained how 2 of them would fight.
7- Well, I know I chose the desert for "a boss for every biome", but my main reason is probably to make the desert more interesting, and to give it more love, it's not fair for it being the only major biome without it's own boss. Also, this would make you go into sandstorms and kill desert sharks for the summon. Plus, I really think this would be a fun boss fight, I really like sharks too, so having this themed on a three headed desert shark? I already love it.

lmao just get the universal pylon, it's really worth the effort to 100% the bestiary just for a quick access to the aether

or just get some good old teleporters, it can be a bit tedious to hook them up, but with grand design it isn't that bad imo
no need for NPC's either, just a few gold for two teleporters and wires

A buff to the Slime Rain after Queen Slime honestly seems like a good idea. Considering she's the Queen Slime, it's weird that there's basically no connection between her and the Slime Rain beyond her relation to King Slime.

I'm actually surprised this buff hasn't already been added; Every other event is either Hardmode exclusive, or gains a Hardmode buff. Yes, this includes the Frost Legion, despite the enemies feeling like they belong in Pre-hardmode. The Slime Rain is, honestly, pretty out of place because of that.

I usually play Master + for the worthy or Zenith seed, and yesterday it took me like forever to hook a teleporter from a house near the surface to the left ocean, crimson enemies are tough in very early hardmode on Zenith seed. And I decided to use a hallow pylon for the Aether since the hallow was there already, but I would like an Aether pylon, but tbh I don't mind it that much.

Yeah true, the slime rain is kind of useless aside from getting it to beat king slime in early pre-hardmode, and you can easily just get a slime crown to do so, that's why I suggested a mini-boss for its hardmode version and for the upgraded slimes to spawn there.
